Obituary

Antionette Light Parks, 82, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Thursday October 8, 2020 at Stanleytown Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 7, 1938, to the late Curtis Phillip and Nora Maude Burnette Anglin.  She was retired after 35 years of service as secretary of Mabe & R. P. Thomas Trucking Co. Mrs. Parks was a member of Chatmoss Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Antionette was preceded in death by her husband, Burke Light, brother William Anglin and grandson; Burke Douglas Wickham. Surviving are her daughters; Leisha Wickham and Joni McBride, brother; Carson Anglin, grandchildren; April Dawn Wickham Conner, Heather McBride, and Jennifer McBride, and great-grandchildren; Kaitlyn Wickham, Cloe Rodriquez, Allyssa Titus, Hannah Miller, and Sarah Miller. At the families request services will be private and held in the Roselawn Burial Park. Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home and Burial Park is entrusted with arrangements.
