Annie Mae Hopkins Stowe, 81, of Fieldale, passed Friday, September 30, 2022, at her residence. Annie was born November 17, 1940, to the late Sanford Lee and Lela Hester Hopkins. She was retired after more than 32 years in textile and was a member of Valley Drive Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Shelburne Stowe, two brothers; Joseph Lee and James Alvin Hopkins, and two sisters, Lessie Stone and Betty Richardson. Annie is survived by one son, Robert Shelburne Stowe, Jr. a daughter, Sandra Kay Eanes, a brother, Vernon Hopkins, a sister, Velma McGhee, two grandchildren, Brandy Lee Wiseman, and Derek Eanes, and one great-grandchild, Hayden Alexander Spence, along with several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 6, 2022, in the Hopkins Family Cemetery, on Artwood Drive, in Fieldale, VA, with Rev. Bobby Rakes officiating.
