Annie B. Lankford age 95 of Martinsville, went home to be with the Lord on Friday March 18, 2016. She was born January 1, 1921 in Pittsylvania County to the late Tom W. and Ethel Compton Betterton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lewis Glenwood Littles in 1963 and by her second husband, Troy Lankford in 1976, a daughter, Dorothy Ann Walker, two brothers, Thelbert and Richard Betterton and a sister, Dora Waller.

She was a member of Victory Christian Center and had worked for Hampco Apparel for over 18 years.

She is survived by her sons, Lawrence Littles and Jr. Anderson Littles both of Bassett and G. Richard Littles of Oak Level, her daughters, Elizabeth Dalton of Oak Level, Margaret Bowers and Nancy Coleman both of Figsboro, 19 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby McGee officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the Roselawn Chapel. The family will have a reception and meal after the service at the Figsboro Ruritan Club Bldg.
