Ann Davis Adkins age 52 of the Figsboro community, passed away on Friday July 22, 2016 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 4, 1963 in Martinsville to the late Nancy Jane Harris Davis and Kenneth Wayne Davis of Martinsville. She was predeceased by her mother.

She was a graduate of Laurel Park High School class of 1982, and was a member of McCabe Memorial Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and cared for children in her home.

She is survived by her father, Kenneth Davis of Martinsville, her husband, Arnold Adkins, Jr. of the home, three sons, Justin Aaron Adkins and Zebulan Dean Adkins, both of Ridgeway, and Adam Wayne Adkins of Figsboro, one brother, Jerry Davis of Stoneville, NC, and six grandchildren, Presley Adkins, Harper Adkins, Mason Adkins, Levi Adkins, Hayden Adkins, and McKinley Adkins.

Ann's funeral service will be Monday July 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Roselawn Chapel with Rev. Lewis Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday July 24th in the Roselawn Chapel, and at other times at the home of her father Kenneth Davis at 211 Figsboro Road.
