Alice Irene Arnold Lusk, age 95, formerly of Stultz Road, died on Monday, June 28, 2010 at the Blue Ridge Rehab Center, Martinsville. She was born on August 03, 1914 in Henry County to the late Charlie Arnold and Annie Morris Arnold. She was predeceased in addition to her parents by her husband, James Thomas Lusk, Sr., a son, Clarence Lusk, a daughter, Barbara "Bob" Lusk Tuttle, a brother, Willard Arnold, two sisters, Doris Bryan and Iva Jean Jones and a grandson, Skippy Tuttle.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mercy Crossing Church.
She is survived by three sons, James T. Lusk, Jr., Maynard E. Lusk, and Joseph E. Lusk all of Martinsville, four brothers, David Arnold of Ridgeway, Paul, Billy and Page Arnold all of Preston, one sister, Molly Hubbard of Preston, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home, with Pastor Jackie Poe officiating the service. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 one hour prior to the service in the chapel of Roselawn.
