Alfred Thomas Baldwin of Pearisburg, VA  passed away on February 6, 2024. He was born on December 10, 1937 to the late Ezra H. Baldwin and Nellie Ward Baldwin in Beckley, WV. He was also preceded in death by his son David Scott Baldwin, brothers, Ronald E. Baldwin and Hubert E. Baldwin.

Alfred graduated from Fieldale High School, Fieldale, VA and later attended The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC. He served in the U.S. Army. His career included being a printer at the Martinsville Bulletin, photography, the furniture business, and later operated a golf course in West Virginia.

He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Ripplemead, VA.
He leaves his wife of 63 years Marie Rea Baldwin, sons, Jason Baldwin, Adam Baldwin and wife Ginger, daughter Jill Jones and husband Jason, grandchildren, Blake Baldwin and wife Arti, Brooke Kiser and husband David, Blake Williams, Ridge Sibold, and Ragan Profitt, also great grandchildren, Ryder, Kyndal, Raelynn and Klay.

He is also survived by brother, Dewey C. Baldwin and wife Judy and nieces and nephews.

Arrangements provided by Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home and Burial Park. There will be a gathering of family and friends on February 15th at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 pm., with Minister Don Pruett officiating.
